Clue #30

Did you know that when you put a music disc in a jukebox, if you have a redstone comparator out of the jukebox, you get a redstone signal, the strength of which is dependent on which disc is in the jukebox ?

Page 3:
Clue #30

If you are not familiar with that idea, now would be a good time to read the minecraft wiki about that idea :-)

Some music discs are "farmable", in other words you can produce lots from creepers. "Cherp" is a good example.

Page 4:
Clue #30

Some music discs are not farmable. A good example is "pigstep".

To get the NEGATIVE x co-ord, add together the redstone comparator signal you would get with every different farmable disc. Then multiply that by 100.

Page 5:
Clue #30

To get the POSITIVE z co-ord, add together the redstone comparator signal you would get with every different NON- farmable disc. Then multiply that by 100.

Assume you are playing vanilla Minecraft 1.20.2.

Clue #30

To get the positive y co-ordinate, it's the difference between the first number you calculated (before you x100 it) and the second number you calculated (before you x100 it).

This is in the overworld.

Answer: -7800 22 5600

Farmable Discs and the redstone comparator output:

 13 1
 cat 2
 blocks 3
 chirp 4
 far 5
 mall 6
 mellohi	7
 stal 8
 strad 9
 ward 10
 11 11
 wait 12

Total = 12/2 * (12+1) = 6 * 13 = 78

So negative x co-ord is -7800

Non Farmable Discs and the redstone comparator output:

 Pigstep	13
 otherside	14
 Relic 14
 5 15

Total = 14 * 4 = 56.

So positive z co-ord is 5600.

Difference is 78-56 = 22, so that's the y co-ord.
